Their lanolin care treatment provides a coating of lanolin for wool fibres. Lanolin is an important part of the "self-cleaning power" of woollen items and helps to keep them clean and fresh just by airing them.
This treatment is designed for woollen nappy wraps but can also be used for the reconditioning of wool knitwear. It is especially useful for heavier garments that are worn as outerwear to add a layer of protection against damp and dirt.
Moisturizing high-quality woollen clothing:
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Disana lanolin care treatment in 1 litre of water. Put the woollen item in the lanolin bath for a short time and press it gently so that it becomes
soaked. After removing, gently squeeze out the excess lanolin bath from the item. Do not dry in the sun, on the radiator or in the tumble dryer. Alternatively, spray onto woollen clothing in this mixing ratio.
Ingredients: lanolin, emulsifier, fatty alcohol, citric acid, preservative, water. Fragrance-free, kind to the skin and the environment. Produced without animal testing.
PLEASE NOTE - this liquid may separate and become lumpy at lower temperatures. This is due to the natural lanolin and is perfectly normal. If this happens, place the bottle in a container of warm water until the lanolin melts and then shake the bottle well (with the lid on!)
