Created by Frances Tobin of the Maker's Atelier sewing pattern label, this stylish bi-annual sewing magazine will inspire you to make more and take your sewing to a new level.
Each issue opens with a round up of the season's colour and fabric trends, inspiring you with what's new. There are in-depth articles on sewing techniques, fascinating interviews with people who make, as well as fashion stories for women of all ages.
The magazine includes a simple versatile pattern. In this issue - The Poncho: easy to make and perfect to layer up on those chilly early spring days.
As you would expect from The Maker's Atelier, examples are given for various stylish interpretations; encouraging you to put your own take on your final garment.
In this issue there is also a bonus pattern for those who knit - a Brioche Stitch Cowl by Erika Knight.
Also includes interviews with Tom of Holland and a feature on pockets by Claire Tyler.
We sell beautiful and useful things for makers. Our products are sourced with care and consideration for those who make them and we work with smaller companies and individuals whose sourcing and manufacturing process are transparent.
We hope to be an inclusive company and strive to create an environment that is welcoming and embraces diversity, both with our online presence, the makers we represent, our physical pop-ups events and our collaborations.
We welcome suggestions about how we can improve our approach.
We donate monthly to theses two amazing charities:
* Labour Behind the Label
* The Runnymede Trust.
