Jenni Smith Sewing Patterns - Hepworth Apron

Regular price £20.00 £0.00

Jenni Smith is based in Yorkshire and teaches classes in dressmaking, quilting and textile art. She aims to share her love of sewing and the endless possibilities of cloth and thread. Her patterns are for gorgeous, wearable garments that would instantly slot into your wardrobe.

This paper pattern comes with an instruction booklet and a Jenni Smith woven label. Each Jenni Smith dressmaking pattern comes with a pledge: 'We promise to make your sewing as stress free as possible. This pattern includes free access to our video tutorial, which demonstrates every process you need to complete.'

The Hepworth Apron is perfect for all creative endeavours – in the studio, garden or kitchen. Its design is functional and flattering with the option to add your own personal twist to the pockets or front band with a contrast fabric or embroidery. The cut is modern and flattering and does not require any major fit adjustments, so it is a good project for those new to dressmaking.

The pattern is named after sculptor and artist Barbara Hepworth who was born in Yorkshire. Her work is a constant source of inspiration and Jenni Smith grew up admiring the beautiful contours of her sculpted forms, and use of natural materials.

Fabric: The apron hangs beautifully in washed linen. Light to medium weight denim is good for a more hard-wearing option. Cottons are also suitable.

Sizes: UK 8 - 18.  US 4 - 14.  Europe 36 - 46.

Skill level: beginner.
