The Anning Shirtdress by Marilla Walker is a loose-fitting dress with a vintage smock feel and contemporary fit. It has been designed to finish mid-calf, but there is an option on the pattern to make it knee length.

View A – A-line, V-neck shirt dress with large collar, button front opening, loose fitting shirt sleeves, curved hem, top yoke and gathered back.

View B – Round neck shirt dress with stand collar, front bib, gathered skirt panel, loose fitting shirt sleeves, curved hem, top yoke and gathered back.

BONUS COLLAR – A larger sailor style collar is also included with the pattern.

Pattern pieces and tips are also included for a boxy cropped bodice which can be hacked to have a gathered skirt added or lengthened to a blouse. Something to play around with and add your own stamp to.

SIZING - this patterns comes in 2 sizing options - from 31.5 to 62 inch chest measurement. Please see the images for size charts. This is a full size paper pattern on white paper then can be traced of in your size/s.

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS – Medium weight denim, corduroy, linen, cotton poplin, cotton double gauze.

NOTION REQUIREMENTS
• Lightweight fusible interfacing - cut on fold. 1.5m view A, 0.5 metres view B.
• 15mm buttons. View A – 12 buttons, view B – 8 buttons.
• Co-ordinating thread.
• (optional) 25mm Bias binding, premade or hand made. Approximately 3 metres for view A, 50 cm for view B.

This is rated intermediate as there are a lot of steps.
