Thread Pegs Reclaimed Wood Clapper

These lovely recliamed wood clappers are made by Laura Ter Kuile from Thread Pegs in her Bristol studio.
A tailor's clapper is pressed or dropped on the seams, usually after steaming, to flatten bulk and create crisp seams and creases whilst sewing.
These have a lovely rustic quality and have been smoothed for use. Woods may vary in colour and grain - please note that some clappers may contain resin filler from the original use of the wood.
Approx 19.5 x 4 x 7cm.
