Dropcloth Sampler - Drawing Stitches

Dropcloth Samplers are designed by US based textile artist Rebecca Ringquist. A dropcloth is something that is not too precious, you can get messy, without worrying about making mistakes.
This sampler is inspired by the marks made in Rebecca’s own sketchbooks and is packed with no less than 31 different stitches for you to discover, practice, and master. You’ll be left with a work of art to hang on your wall and a reference point for future embroidery projects.
Instructions aren’t included but can be found in most embroidery books, in Rebecca’s online classes, or why not get a friend to show you? You can customise by choosing your own colours and threads to make a beautiful sampler. You can use any perle cotton or embroidery floss for your sampler – a great way to use up old scraps!
