This lovely quality sashiko cloth already has a circles pattern imprinted on it. This made my first attempt ever at sashiko straightforward and very enjoyable. It's so relaxing. I know I'll be back for more sashiko supplies!

A useful, strong needle keep which reminds me of my Grandma’s vintage Sylko cotton reels. Have been using one for a year, this one will be a gift if I don’t nab it for myself! I love that it is handmade.

I have been wanting Japanese snips ever since I startdmed Sashiko so I was so excited to see these on the website.They come in a little bix covered in Japanese writing and are very sharp.As always delivery and communication was excellent from Beyond Measure and these arrived super fast!

An Interesting magazine but only up to a point. It’s quite over the top with its one topic content.
I might send for issue two out of curiosity but it’s an expensive publication and then the postage on top makes it somewhat prohibitive.

The style of Purl magazine (and Weft and Ply) mag is that each issue is an in-depth exploration of a certain topic or skill (in this case, casting on) and the issue focuses solely on that topic or technique. I have tried to make this clear in the magazine description, so sorry if that didn't come across. I hope you will give Issue 2 a try but please note that it will be in a similar format to Issue 1, with a focus on one single theme.

I’m so enamoured with this button weight, it is the perfect size and heft for my needs, I use it as a paper weight for bookbinding, but equally would work well as a fabric weight… It comes beautifully packaged and is gorgeous to look at, so much so, I hope to order its limited edition sister colour before they sell out! 🌸
