I was brought up in a house with a Mother, Grandma and Aunt who were usually making something out of thread or wool. I got the sewing bug with my first Petite toy sewing machine and still love making clothes. A career in contemporary craft galleries has developed my love of hand-made items of the highest quality. Sewing has always been a part of my life; now I can combine the two and bring you this collection that is Beyond Measure. I am based on the borders of my home county of Lancashire and West Yorkshire, surrounded by the stunning landscapes and creative people of the Calder Valley.
The collection is chosen with care by Grace, the owner and sourced from talented craftspeople and the best small companies from the UK and further afield.
BY CAR
We are just off the main Rochdale Road A6033 in Walsden, opposite a big mill building, Hollins Mill. You can see our building from the main road - turn up Winterbutlee Road, opposite the Mill and then turn immediate 1st left into our car park. We have parking for about 5 cars in our car park and there is parking on the main Rochdale road. Please do not park on Winterbutlee Road itself. There are often delays through Hebden Bridge due to ongoing roadworks, so we advise avoiding that route or allowing extra time for travel - please check before you start your journey.
BY TRAIN
We are just 2 minutes walk from Walsden Train Station Walsden. Todmorden station is about 2 miles away. Please note that not all Leeds - Manchester trains stop at Walsden.
BY BUS
There is a bus stop outside on the Rochdale Rd with routes from Rochdale and Halifax.
