Cohana Glass Bead Marking Pins
Another little delight from Cohana, these glass marking pins are handmade with care, one-by-one, using Japanese tombo-dama techniques. The floral designs for these tombo-dama are called "millefiori," meaning "a thousand flowers." The glass components are heated in the flame from a burner and carefully shaped. They are then applied to a smooth steel pin (made in Hiroshima, an area famous for their production) so they glide through fabric, but we have a feeling you may just want to pop these in a pincushion and admire them!
Presented beautifully in a paper packet, containing 3 pins in the limited edition Sakura pink colourway for Spring 2020.
