Cohana presents a collection of three needle threaders, finished with chiyogami paper from the long-established Japanese paper shop "Haibara" in Tokyo.
Three traditional patterns were selected and created in exclusive colourways for Cohana. The high-quality Japanese paper has then been used to wrap the needle threaders to create a beautiful handle. The hexagon is an auspicious shape that symbolizes harmony and stability, and has long been used for celebrations and special gifts.
Kumiki - a pattern that uses stripes. This is a playful pattern loved by Edokko (those born and bred in Edo, now Tokyo).
Gourd pattern - a gourd is a talisman for good health and luck, representing a fruitful day.
A long-tailed bird and peony - symbols of wealth and prosperity.
One pack contains all three needle threaders. Each threader is approx. 4.3 cm x 2.6 cm long.
Avoid contact with water, cosmetics etc and avoid strong sunlight.
Suitable for fine threads only - do not pull too hard or force the wire through the needle eye.
