Dropcloth Sampler - Pincushions
Dropcloth Samplers are designed by US based textile artist Rebecca Ringquist. A dropcloth is something that you can get messy, without worrying about making mistakes. This beautiful new embroidery sampler can be sewn into two pincushions to keep your needles organized - why not pre-thread them all ready for stitching?
This sampler includes two printed panels with some background colour for you to embroider by hand. Back stitch and french knots have been used in the images but you can choose your own stitches to suit your own taste. For best results, Rebecca recommends using 3 strands of embroidery floss or size 8 perle cotton in your needles but feel free to experiment!
Complete directions for sewing your embroidered panels into functional pincushions are included.
