Founded in 1946 and based in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Takatsuji Seisakujo is a manufacturer of Buddhist altarware. Drawing on the traditional casting techniques of Takaoka copperware, which have been passed down for more than 400 years, the company also produces tools that have meaning and a role in everyday life. They have created this beautiful and exclusive metal awl for Cohana.
Finished with a single coat of blue lacquer, this awl has a greenish-blue hue that brings out the warm tone of the brass underneath. The hexagonal handle shapes stops the awl rolling on your desk.
Comes with an indigo blue leather case that fully covers the awl.
