This magnetic notions block is made in the UK from solid beech wood and is a super stylish and useful addition to your sewing space.

Hidden magnets create two magnetic surfaces. You can use the flat side as a holder for pins, needles or safety pins. Underneath you can hide your tiny precious scissors, machine bobbins or best needles.

Used recess side up, your pins and notions will stay neatly contained inside the hollow area. This is perfect if (like me), you tend to throw your pins to the side whilst machining, or if you need to keep special bits and bobs in a safe place. Great for picking up dropped pins too!

A beautiful minimal design, each one will have a unique grain. Made from sustainably sourced wood.

Measures 90 mm diam and total depth is 40 mm.
Recess area is 17 mm deep and 75 mm across.

Wood grain will vary due to the nature of the material.

o Store and use away from children and pets. Never let children play with magnets
o If ingested, seek medical treatment immediately.
o Always slide magnets apart against the attracted faces – do not prise them apart. If two strong magnets need to be separated, use a strong non-magnetic surface, such as a wooden table or desk. Ensure that there are no magnetic materials including things such as supports or legs in the path of the magnet during the separation. Overhang one magnet at the edge of the desk and apply a strong downward pressure to separate. Once separated, continue the motion to keep the magnet moving to a safe distance of 500mm.
o Check item regularly for sign of damage, loose magnets and sharp edges.
o Stop using broken, weak or damaged items immediately.
o Keep a safe distance (50mm+) between other all objects that can be damaged by magnetism including mechanical watches, heart pacemakers, CRT monitors and televisions, credit cards, diskettes and other magnetically stored media.
o Store away from other magnetic items.

Fantastic

This was a gift - very well received! I love my own block, and often have other sewists ask me where they can get one for themselves..
