Wooden Acorn Sewing Etui

I am so delighted to offer these beautiful little wooden acorn sewing cases. Also know as an etui, these tiny containers were often found in vintage and antique sewing boxes and contained needles, pins, thread etc. Indeed, this tiny treasure was inspired by a vintage piece from my collection, which has been lovingly reproduced with a few tweaks.
Remove the grooved cap to reveal a tiny triple thread spool and needle storage (thread and needles not included).
If you wish, you can remove the spool and just use the acorn as a small container - it will hold our wax acorns, stitch markers, metal thimble or general tiny things! Either way, this is a charming and useful addition to your workbox.
