These beautifully made beech embroidery hoops are made by Nurge in Turkey from sustainably sourced European beech wood.  They have a smooth hand finished surface and the extra depth of the 16mm hoop makes sure your fabric is held drum tight.  They are suitable for all embroidery use, the extra depth makes them especially good for use with thick or knitted fabrics.  They also make lovely frames for finished work.

The brass screw fitting is hexagonal to allow ease of hand adjustment and can also be further tightened with a screw driver.
Price is per single hoop.  Size given is the internal diameter.

Excellent guality

I wanted a well made wooden ring for a clock I was making and the finish of this hoop was perfect, I made the clock and like the end result.

Good strong hoops

I used these to mount and display two embroidery pieces - heavy linen and quite thick embroidery. They look lovely and I’m very pleased with this purchase. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent quality hoops

These hoops are possibly the best ones I have. They are well made and smooth. They fit together well. The screw fitting is sturdy and easy to use. The depth of the ring makes getting fabric really tight easy and there is little or no slip. I have been looking at these rings ever since they were first stocked but could not justify buying yet more embroidery hoops, however I was given a gift voucher for Christmas so decided to treat myself to 3, (I also used my loyalty points,). When I can afford more, I will get more. Definitely worth the extra cost for the deep ring and quality.
