These gorgeous threads are hand dyed in the UK by Zoe Acketts of Paint Box Threads. Zoe uses her artist's eye to individually mix each dye and create beautiful palettes of seductive colours, from the vibrant to the muted.
Each pack containd 10 × 20m skeins of beautiful mercerised Perle 8 cotton thread.
These colours are ‘plains’ but have been hand-dyed. This gives a slight variation along their length, bringing a depth to any textile piece.
Thread is a similar thickness to a Perle 8 or, 3 strands a standard DMC 6 Stranded Floss.
It is hard to represent colours on screen with 100% accurancy, but rest assured these threads combinations look even better in real life!
