We know our furry friends love to 'help' with our projects - these little glass needle minders mean that they can always be nearby!  They are designed and made by local Calder Valley artist Sid Barlow.

Created from Sid's original designs, the images are applied by transfer and fired into the glass for durability.  The double magnet fitting ensure you can park your needle minder securely on your fabric or work-surface to keep your needles safely to hand.

Glass piece measure approx 4cm x 4cm.

o Store and use away from children and pets. Never let children play with magnets
o If ingested, seek medical treatment immediately.
o Always slide magnets apart against the attracted faces – do not prise them apart. If two strong magnets need to be separated, use a strong non-magnetic surface, such as a wooden table or desk. Ensure that there are no magnetic materials including things such as supports or legs in the path of the magnet during the separation. Overhang one magnet at the edge of the desk and apply a strong downward pressure to separate. Once separated, continue the motion to keep the magnet moving to a safe distance of 500mm.
o Check item regularly for sign of damage, loose magnets and sharp edges.
o Stop using broken, weak or damaged items immediately.
o Keep a safe distance (50mm+) between other all objects that can be damaged by magnetism including mechanical watches, heart pacemakers, CRT monitors and televisions, credit cards, diskettes and other magnetically stored media.
o Store away from other magnetic items.

So cute!

I bought this as a gift for my sister. Although I haven’t given it to her yet, she will love it! I tried to order another for a friend, but the one I thought fit her best was sold out. This is a unique, and quality product!

Bit disappointed

It’s a lovely piece of glass but unfortunately the magnet came off the back almost immediately. I’m on holiday now so haven’t had time to enquire about what glue is suitable to fix it back on. ( recommendations please) Just glad the glass didn’t break when it fell.

I'm so sorry this happened Ailsa - we will replace the needleminder of course or advise on fixing it. We have been in touch so do let us know when you are back from holiday. Thanks!
