Boutis or trapunto is a technique where small channels of running stitches are filled with a special cord to give a raised pattern effect.
Boutis needles are especially designed for ‘cording’, when the cotton threads are pulled between the stitches to create the padded design. The round tips avoid breaking the fabric and the long needle eye makes it easy to thread.
These lovely needles are made in France.
Pack of six, size of needles: n°26 length 68 mm – diameter 0.60 mm.
Presented in a Sajou booklet with pink motif.
