These lovely kits from Daruma Yokota include all you need to sew a beautiful linen sashiko design onto a delicate 100% linen handkerchief.
Each kit comes with one blank handkerchief and a set of 3 design templates. You can choose one or two to apply to the handkerchief using the tracing paper provided. They can also be applied to other projects as well. The stitch the lines with the sashiko needles and threads provided. The traced lines will disappear from the fabric with the first wash.
Please note - the kits include instructions in Japanese only but the diagrams can still be followed to finish the projects successfully. Please contact us if you need any help.
Available in three designs and colourways:
Option 1 - white cloth with blue thread, hemp leaf and floral designs.
Option 2 - navy cloth with natural thread and shippo, cross and wave designs
Option 3 - dark navy cloth pink thread and sakura, figure eight and bird design.
Kit contains 1 x linen handkerchief, skein of thread 40m, 2 needles, needlethreader, design template, carbon paper, instructions in Japanese.
