Brass Seam Ripper | Takatsuji Seisakujo / Toyama
Founded in 1946 and based in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Takatsuji Seisakujo is a manufacturer of Buddhist altarware. Drawing on the traditional casting techniques of Takaoka copperware, which have been passed down for more than 400 years, the company also produces tools that have meaning and a role in everyday life. They have created this beautiful and exclusive seam ripper for Cohana.
Finished with two coats of blue lacquer, this seam ripper has a rich Indigo navy hue with added depth. The rounded brass handle sits comfortably in the hand. The individually carved grooves provide a natural place for your ring or little finger to rest, giving you a secure grip. Its comfortable weight makes it easy to work with, while its elegant shape adds to its appeal.
Comes with an indigo blue leather case that fully covers the ripper.
Please note that the ripper has a fixed blade and is not replaceable.
