Our Autumn 2026 Beyond Measure Embroidery Kit features an exclusive design by Ginger Becky
with hand-dyed threads from Paint-Box Threads.

Slow down and revel in the seasons as you stitch this beautiful and unique embroidery kit designed by
artist Rebecca Wann (Ginger Becky). The design features some of the UK’s best loved but most
endangered wildlife, brought to life by the vibrant colours of threads that have been hand-dyed by Zoe
Acketts of Paint-Box threads.

Rebecca explains the title and inspiration behind the design:

In these times where our natural world is under threat I believe hope is precious and can feel like almost a radical act. Hope keeps the belief alive that we can all make a positive impact- it keeps us engaged with trying to make a difference. Embroidery gives me some space to contemplate - when working on something with meaning, each stitch carries my emotions, thoughts and intentions. With this piece I am communicating my intention to tread carefully on our beautiful planet.

Stitch the much loved flora and fauna of our endangered woodlands and wild spaces, using a variety of stitches explained in the booklet. There is plenty of advice to guide beginners but enough freedom for an experienced stitcher to make this their own.

After stitching, you can frame your fabric panel or turn it into a simple wall hanging or accessory of your
choice. This kit is suitable for beginners as well as more seasoned stitchers. Suggested age 12 plus.
Kit contains:

  • a hand screen-printed 100% Lithuanian linen panel (size 37 x 31 cm, image size 25 x 19 cm)
  • 10 colours of Paint-Box Threads Perle 12 100% cotton variegated and solid colour thread
  • A selection of high-quality embroidery needles
  • A wood and metal magnetic needle-minder from Love Poppet
  • Full stitching instructions and stitch suggestions/colour guide
  • a full colour A5 reference postcard

You will also need:

  • An embroidery hoop; 6-or 7-inch (15 – 18cm) is ideal
  • A small pair of sharp scissors
  • Some standard sewing thread or paper/masking tape to secure the fabric edges (optional)

The kit comes in a presentation box designed by Tilly Flop Designs.
