Glorious 100% wool laceweight/embroidery thread, spun at the John Arbon Mill in Devon. Appledore is their local breeds yarn, made from 40% Devon Closewool, 40% Romney and 20% Exmoor Blueface. Each colour is named after a Devon cider apple! The yarn comes in 20 dappled, tweedy colours and we have created 4 different toning palettes for you to explore. Each bundle contains 5 colours of yarn which work together beautifully.
Each bundle contains 5x10g skeins per bundle, approx 55m per 10g skein.
Perfect for embroidery, darning, visible darning and of course fine knitting or crochet.
Misty Moor - cool earth and mauve tones reminiscent of misty, heathery moors (contains colours Duffin, Foxwhelp, Quench, Sweet Coppin and Winter Stubbard).
Kelp Forest - shades of the ocean with yellowy gold and deep greens (contains the colours Golden Knob, Hangy Down, Sheep's Nose, Spicy Pippin and Tom Putt).
Winter's Touch - nature's neutrals evoke the stark beauty of winter (contains the colours Dabinett, Fair Maid, Hoary Morning, Payhembury, Whimple Wonder).
Daybreak - deep teals and corals of the dawn sky (contains the colours Billy Down Pippin, Ellis Bitter, Pig Snout, Slack Ma Girdle and Yeovil Sour).
Hand wash at low temperature with mild detergent.
