Aurifil’s 50wt/2ply thread is Aurifil's most versatile and popular cotton thread. The 50wt is strong but thin, and results in remarkably flat and crisp seams.
A firm favourite of quilters but it can also be used in a myriad of sewing situations.
The NECESSITIES collection includes 4 large spools of 1422 Yards – 1300 Mt in the most essential colours of 2992 black, 2021 natural white 2600 dove (grey) and 2600 light sand.
Uses:
Needle Turn Applique, English Paper Piecing, Hand Piecing and sewing, Bobbin and Machine Lace, Machine Applique (Straight Stitch, Zig Zag, Blind Hem, and Blanket Stitch), Machine Embroidery, Dense Machine Quilting, Subtle Machine and Longarm Quilting, Basting, Whole Cloth and Micro Quilting, Dense Background Designs.
Needle Recommendations:
- 80/12 Microtex/Sharp, Universal, Quilting, or Denim Needles (50wt in the bobbin)
- 4.0 Longarm Needle (50wt in the bobbin)
