Now available in 170m skeins, this is the same quality as our 40m cards.
This cotton thread from Daruma is used for Sashiko and other kinds of hand stitching and embroidery techniques. It is a four-strand standard thickness thread, the lightest weight that Daruma produce, and similar in weight to a cotton perle 12 weight.
Please note - some colours are the same as the 40m range, some are only available in the different ranges. We have used the same colour names for those that are the same.

This is the second lot of this thread I've bought from Beyond Measure and it's lovely to work with. I use it doubled and it goes through the fabric easily and doesn't twist or tangle.
My only regret is that I didn't buy more colours, they're stunning.
Really pleased with the thread. The colours are lovely and very much as they appear on the website. The thread seems great quality at a very good price. Looking forward to using it. It also arrived really quickly after I ordered it.
Good value for money and lovely colours available
Lovely thread which is perfect for the job it was bought for, namely Sashiko stitching. This was my first time doing this sort of stitching and I found this thread perfect…it gives a really lovely finish. Can be used as a single thread or doubled up.
