Dropcloth Samplers are designed by USA based textile artist Rebecca Ringquist. A dropcloth is something that you can get messy, without worrying about making mistakes.
Each design is taken from Rebecca's hand-drawn original, printed up and ready for you to start stitching with your own color and thread choices.
Is there anything better than a freshly sharpened pencil? Yes! Ten hand-embroidered ones. This sampler contains ten hand-drawn pencils ready to stitch in whatever colors you like. The circles on the tops can be customized with numbers or letters.
You can use any perle cotton or embroidery floss for your sampler – a great way to use up old scraps! Or try some of our Paint Box Threads!
The printed area measures approximately 19 x 19 cm, fabric is 25 x 27 cm
- Includes one sampler, printed in black on a yellow background (this is not a kit)
- Very basic stitch instructions are included.
- For best results, we recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way.
