These unique coasters are made by Pamela Cain aka @generalpattrn (without an e).
Pamela hand cuts and assembles works in linoleum, using only the original Forbo/Marmoleum brand, which is manufactured in Kirkaldy, Scotland as well as internationally.
Her first works were originally inspired by classic Victorian tiled floors. Now inspiration for patterns is found in everything from Early American patchwork blocks to smartphone emojis.
These coasters are influenced by traditional patchwork blocks and make the ideal addition to your sewing or craft space. They are hand cut and glued onto a cork backing. They can be easily wiped clean with a damp clothe when needed. They make a gorgeous gift for quilters and patchwork lovers!
Each coaster measures 10 cm square and approx 0.5cm thick.
