This wonderful hole punch is made in Japan by Nonaka and is fantastic quality – beware of cheaper imitations!

It’s such a fabulous and satisfying tool to use. Simply press down onto paper, card, fabric or thin leather, the punch screws down automatically and leaves you with a perfectly cut circular hole. The waste material builds up inside the tool and pops out of a side hole as it gets full.

Fantastic for all kinds of paper craft, booking binding, bag making, pattern making and more! Can be used on multiple layers.

Quality wooden handle with brass chuck fitting.

The punch comes with one 3 mm circular bit as standard. Other bits are available here.

Use with a self healing cutting mat or similar surface when cutting.

Total length: 13 cm.  Made by Nonaka - find out more in our blog post

Great tool.

I recently bought the Screw Punch, and an additional 1.5 mm bit, and can honestly say it is a lovely tool. I tried it first with plain paper and with grey bookboard. The bits are very sharp, and the screw mechanism is beautifully smooth and easy to use. I also tried it with 2mm MDF or chipboard, but that took much longer, and wasn’t such a smooth movement. I won’t do that again, I’d be worried about blunting the ‘drill’ bits. But for paper, greyboard, leather and fabric, etc, it’s a great tool.

Japanese Screw Punch

This is the best and most fun tool I have! I keep all my scrap felt from larger projects and like to make use of as much of it as I can and this tool allows me to cut the tiniest of dots - I use the 5mm most often. This is the second one I’ve bought as the first one has been appropriated by my daughter who also loves it. Really happy that I can order replacement blades which are delivered quickly.
