These gorgeous threads are hand dyed in the UK by Zoe Acketts of Paint Box Threads. Zoe uses her artist's eye to individually mix each dye and create beautiful palettes of seductive colours, from the vibrant to the muted.
The mercerised cotton can be used for hand embroidery. The hand-dying process adds a subtle variation to the colour which will add that special something to your textile projects. Each skein contains 100m of a single variegated colour, with colours blending across a repeating length of approx 70cm. There will be a different blending with every repeat, due to the hand-dyeing process involved.
Thread is a similar thickness to a Perle 12 thread.
