TAUKO Magazine is a pioneering independent print publication for home sewists around the world. The vast horizon of crafts, culture and climate is featured in sewing patterns, interviews, columns, articles, tips and recommendations by international contributors.

TAUKO Magazine No. 10 invites you to dive into the enchanting world of 'Ballroom Dreams'. This issue features nine dazzling designs inspired by the theme 'party'. From ethereal tulle gowns to shimmering glittering vests, the collection, created by international designers, captures the essence of festive elegance. The articles and essays embark on a journey through the vibrant history of balls, tracing the vibrant tapestry of New York's ball scene to the opulent ballrooms of interwar Berlin. The issue includes paper patterns and step-by-step instructions for all designs, which are available in 9 sizes ranging from a 31"/78cm bust to a 57.5"/146cm bust.

TAUKO is a 128-page collectable that measures in at 275mm high x 215mm wide. There are four folded paper pattern sheets included with the magazine. The patterns from each issue are overprinted on the four sheets - trace off your sizes before use.  A 1cm seam allowance is included in patterns unless otherwise specified.  Finished garment measurements are included for each pattern.  Please see images for examples of the pattern sheets and instructions format. It is printed in Estonia with a glue and stitch binding to secure durability and easy reading.

We try and keep our postage options simple by having a flat rate based on your shipping destination. We are currently using tracked only services.

The current postage prices are as follows from 1 Jan 2023:

  • UK Royal Mail 48 tracked : £3.50
  • UK Royal Mail 24 tracked: £4.50

These delivery (24, 48) times are estimated from despatch and not guaranteed.

  • EU £15 - order value UNDER £130/150 Euros* and up to 2KG. We operate IOSS so you pay any taxes upfront - no more fees to pay on receipt!

We aim to please and hope that you will be happy with your order.  If you are not happy with your item/s and wish to return anything, then please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. You must then return the items as instructed in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of notifying us.

  • Earrings due to hygiene reasons
  • Any made to order or custom items.
